The Woodlands, Texas
We had a very nice visit with our friends Liz and Ollie in The Woodlands Texas. Their yard is in bloom and is gorgeous. Even Callie enjoyed it.

Meanwhile, other homes are being re-landscaped. Molly and Sally's neighbor got new sod, and they have completely reworked their front and back yards. Looking good, can't wait to see the Oleanders grown.
Many hurricane damaged homes are just now being demolished or dismantled. This home is just a half block from Molly and Sally's home. You can see their yellow house through the picture from the beach.Each picture can be viewed larger by just clicking on it.
Cocoa is a happy 9 year old puppy! Callie, Sugar and Cocoa romp on the beach while Sally looks on.

Local artists have reclaimed downed trees to create art pieces around the city. Here are a few more we found this trip into Galveston.

We took the Bolivar Ferry again into Galveston. On the way we saw this oil rig supply ship from Seattle.

We had a lovely lunch and visit with the Parrie's and Bea. Then we went to Abita Springs to see Bea's home and kitties. Susan was having kitty withdrawals, so these two came in handy.

Jim launches Callie's favorite retrieving toy in their back "40" acres. Spring has all the flowers in bloom and the hummingbirds returning.

It's always nice to see family and though the visit was short, we were able to catch up with everyone's lives. Susan even got to see some second and third cousins.
