Our trip to Orlando for the dog show resulted in some excellent bird watching!

Notice the juvenile Ibis in the lower right hand corner (he's not all white, yet).

These birds were no more than 6 feet away from us and the dogs in the car. What a treat!

AKC National Championships In Orlando Florida

Though we were not in the top 5 Wheaten Terriers and did not receive an invitation to this event, we attended the show at the Orange County Convention Center. It is a huge venue with confirmation, agility, dock diving and vendors.

Here's some of the booty winners will receive

This is one of 2 pools used for dog dock diving

This is the first Wheaten to qualify for dock diving

We ran into lots of friends and acquaintances, Kathy Timmons, Barb & Jeff Davis, Jack Cotter and Tucker, Linda Hallas and here is Robin running agility with Whimsy

This does not appear to be a Norwegian Elkhound. Thought Helen and John would appreciate this.

We wish our many followers a very Merry Christmas!

St. Augustine Florida

We took a drive south to St. Augustine, the oldest city in the United States. We specifically came to see the "Night of Lights".

This is Flagler College built by Henry Flagler, a co-founder with John D. Rockefeller of the Standard Oil Company who spent the winter in St. Augustine. Among other achievements he built hotels and he brought the railroad to Florida.
