We're home!

We were so happy to see the Washington Welcome sign!

Stopped for the night in Kennewick to visit with Judy's college buddy Cheryl. We were able to park in her driveway for the night and enjoyed visiting with her in her home.

We have good memories to reminisce and lots to laugh about.

The dogs loved Cheryl's yard and home.

Nearing Vantage. Almost home.

Home to a smokey Wenatchee at sunset.

The house and lawn looks good.

The RV is home in her spot!

Heading home with a stop in Nampa/Caldwell Idaho

After leaving Hill AFB in Utah, we spent a night at Camp Walmart in Twin Falls Idaho

The skies were very smokey.

We came to Nampa Idaho to visit an old Marine Corps friend but found we had to stay to get our car air conditioner repaired.

We had to stay an extra day waiting for the car repair. This 5 star RV park was full and our spot was reserved by someone else, thus we had to move to another site for the night.

This is the dog run in this RV Park, very nice and clean.

Out to dinner with Linda at the Olive Garden.

Linda with her pups, Shasta and Pepper.

Linda feeding her ducks. The flock of ducks come see her twice a day for cracked corn.

A driving tour that included the NW Nazarene University. Some of Judy's cousins have attended this college.

All our time in Nampa, the air quality was very poor. This is the sun at noon.

Susan's ready for some fresh air - or to rob a bank.

Our last day, Linda comes by to say so-long.

Driving away we saw two hang gliders, landing very close to the highway.

This landscape is so different from most of Colorado

The Western Slope Vietnam Veterans Memorial at a rest stop in Fruita

This group is titled Welcome Home.

Entering Green River Utah

Spending the night at a KOA in Green River Utah.

Like most KOAs this one has cabins available to rent. It is right next to our RV site.

Sights along the way

A river meandering along the railroad tracts. Note the train tunnel.

  Which one should we choose?

Not going East!

Not going West! Going North!

We have arrived at Hill AFB. It took us awhile to find the right entrance.

The RV FamCamp

The lots are spacious and well maintained.

They have a nice dog run!

We had a enjoyable stay. Had planned to drive through Salt Lake City but the car air conditioner died and it was might hot, so just stayed put.
