Several days touring in St. Louis and beyond

Several days touring in St. Louis and beyond.

Since we've been without a computer for awhile, this blog is an effort to bring you up todate.

Our St.Louis camp in the middle of the city. Side by side. John and Helen's RV on the right and ours on the left.

Touring the AKC Museum. We learned it will be returning to New York next year.

An actual Chihuahua dog house.

A visit to SLAM, The St.Louis Art Museum

A special instillation of men's fashions through out the ages. This exhibit is from Los Angeles.

A Monet

This piece by a woman sculpture from the 1800s.

Onto the Museum and home of Ulysses S. Grant (his real name was Hiram Ulysses Grant but when he went to West Point he was listed as Ulysses S. He liked it and kept it.)

This is White Haven. Mrs. Grant's family home.

The ice house and chicken coop behind us.

Downtown St. Louis showing the Old Court House and the Arch from the Citygarden.

Traveling on to Abilene Kansas, we visited the Eisenhower childhood home, Museum, and Presidential Library.

This is one of several display cases of metals and ribbons bestowed upon Eisenhower from all over the world, at the close of WWII.

He was a supreme allied commander during WWII.
