Finally arrived in El Paso, Susan's home town. Since we had to have work done at Camping World in Anthony Texas, we decided to stay at the KOA in Anthony. Like other places we've traveled this year, there is much road construction going on and we prefer not to drive the RV back thru El Paso.
Anthony is just inside the Texas/New Mexico border. Here's a Texas star.
This is our campsite
Our view out our door
The Snowmoon
The desert sunsets were spectacular!
Looking toward Mexico
Since we last stayed here, they have added a large dog run.
The girls enjoyed playing in the dog run
The girls offer their toys to visiting Boston Terriers.
It does get windy in the desert, hold on to your hair!
A view from the Transmountain road
A view across El Paso into Mexico, in the distance.
Out to dinner at the Great American Steakhouse where Chihuly meets the southwest. Not really, but it just looks like it.
Thought our horse loving friends would like this picture
