It's time to leave Arizona and head to California

Last looks in SMR and Arizona

Note the real palm tree in the foreground and the fake palm tree also known as a cell tower in the background (from the basin area in SMR Park).

Saying good bye to Ann, Lila and Max and many other good friends in the park.

This is what the catch basin is really for. We had pouring rain the night before.

The scenery changes as you get further out into the desert.

The sign for the California state line.

The agricultural inspection station.

Our first view of snow this year!

Palm trees and snow. What a contrast.

Stopped in Cathedral City for lunch and a fill-up.

Overpass near March AFB.

Our spot in Oceanside CA.

Our spot came with these!

After all the rain, the ice plants were in bloom.

Hardy Jade plants.

Dinner out with Azure and Ginger (Susan's newly found cousin).

Going to Scottsdale for shopping and lunch

Arizona Highways are decorated with Indian artwork in various colored rocks.

Quiet often they use animals or native symbols.
