Waiting for RV repairs in Forest City Iowa, the home of Winnebago Industries

Staying at Pammel Park every night, then back to the factory in the mornings

During the day to keep busy, after doing the laundry, we took in the local sights. This is the town square and  city hall.

Forest City is the home of Waldorf College which has been recently upgraded to a four year University

                                                          Forest City Railroad Depot

First telegraph, Dec. 25, 1879

It rained all one day, at times heavily. Heard from the locals that it rained 2 1/4" in 15 minutes. It was an indoor day.

Sweet little location of a family farm on the outskirts of town

This sign says the same family has owned the farm for over 100 years.

The corn is not as high as an elephant's eye as yet. The deluge the other day should help it along.

We took a picnic lunch to a wayside park

Spent time at this neighborhood park, just up from the factory. No children present, so the dogs had the park all to themselves.

Shelby decides to try the slide. She wanted to go to the top, but kept sliding down and soon gave up.

It takes a lot of energy waiting for repairs. Maybe a nap is in order. This was our final day and we left as soon as we got the rig back. Off to Prior Lake, MN
