Moody Beach, Wells Maine

Nice little communities on 2 lane roads, packed with tourists, including us. Stayed at a Thousand Trails campground with tons of other people, but surprisingly quiet. Visited Stonewall Kitchens in York,Maine for shopping and lunch, loved their gardens.

Beach housing, marsh on one side, sandy beach on the other.

Dogs allowed on some beaches before 8am or after 6pm, so what's a dog to do but tug leash in frustration.

This is how they spell and say lobster in Maine, LobSta---

Hopewell Rocks, New Brunswick

The Hopewell Rocks, also called the Flowerpot Rocks, are rock formations caused by tidal erosion in The Hopewell Rocks Ocean Tidal Exploration Site in New Brunswick. They stand between 40-70 feet tall.

They are located on the shores of the upper reaches of the Bay of Fundy at Hopewell Cape near Moncton, New Brunswick. Due to the extreme tidal range of the Bay of Fundy, the base of the formations are covered in water twice a day. However, it is possible to view the formations from ground level at low tide.

 Susan's dream destination.

An Interpretative Guide sets these rock cairns up at low tide to allow folks on the viewing platform to see the force of the incoming tide.

These are the stairs you can  use to walk on the "beach" when the tide is out. Judy went down with Callie and said the soil  was really dry, very interesting.

There they go

They offer Kayak tours that go through the formation called the Lover's Knot. Timing is everything.

Louisbourg Lighthouse from near and far

This supposedly the first lighthouse in the Americas. It has no other name.

Judy and Callie back from a dip

Callie, hang onto your beard and where are your doggles?

Can you see Judy and Callie at base of lighthouse?
