Minas Basin, Bay of Fundy

We asked the locals and were told where there was a good viewing area for the incoming tide. A small municipal park not far from where we were. Judy started shooting at about 2:30 and we tried to get another picture every 30 mins. The best way to judge the tide increase is to count the rungs on the wharf ladder. It had 10 rungs to the inlet floor, when we started watching. You can also see the “tent” across from us. Then as the tidal flow increases the sand disappears, the man appears to be walking in the marsh grass (he’s actually on a motorized wake board). We only stayed about 2 hours, but wow what a change in water level.
