Spent the night at Baker Park Reserve
It was a beautiful sunset but the clouds brought rain
Everybody heading out of town. We were going in the right direction.
Judy's cousin and family resides in beautiful refurbished Endicott building in downtown St.Paul.
The ceiling was stunning!
Kathryn in the formal entrance to the building
This sign though hard to read says: " The World's First Telephone Answering Service October 1927" --- "The Northwest Airlines First Twin Cities Ticket Office April 1928"
An elegant elevator and spiral staircase
Kathryn, Gary and Sydney live on the 10th floor. This is a view looking down the 10 floors.
Shelby loved the low windows
Within the building there is a gym, party room, garden terrace and this roof top shared areas
The dogs loved being off leash and enjoyed their freedom
The view to the south
The view of the Mississippi to the west
The view of the Mississippi to the east and the Old Customs House
There is a nice barbecue on the roof top and Gary made us a delicious meal of chicken, ham and cheese sands with tomato, basil and mozzarella salad. The basil is from his hydroponic garden.
This was the venue for their son Alan's wedding to Sierra Jin on June 10th on Raspberry Island. This is Sydney, Kathryn and Gary
Here's what the wedding looked like. It was beautiful from what we can tell from the photos and stories the family told us.
Here's not so formal Judy and dogs
Raspberry Island is a park on the Mississippi
It was a wonderful fun filled day and even the weather cooperated. It was great catching up with the family.
They took us on a light rail tour from Union depot to the University where Kathryn works
