A description of the township
Lunenburg is a town one can easily walked about.
Colorful houses, steep hills always ending at the sea.
Lunenburg Harbour is always busy.
Each family was provided a Town lot and a garden lot.
Circa 1880 Wolff House. Home of the first Mayor of Lunenburg.
The town was planned for at least 48 families
Even the town square, now a park was terraced because of the hills.
This is a memorial to the WWI solders.
Today colorful sea inspired murals decorate the town.
These buildings are harbourside.
We had dinner in the Rime Restaurant, in the orange building. It was good!
A pleasant ending to a rainy day.
