Off to the Tattoo

The whole town prepares for the Tattoo. There were banners all over the city.

It is performed in the Scotiabank Centre (this view from the Citadel) Halifax Harbour in the background

Our friends Linda and Claudie from Massachusetts are in town to attend the tattoo with us and John, Helen and Peggy. Waiting for the show to begin.

No photos allowed during the show. Afterwards we were able to mingle with the performers and talk all the photos we wanted.

This Mountie's boots are spit shined!

This group of acrobats are from Kenya and were very good. Very entertaining.

This is a military band unit from Germany

This fellow represented the Canadian WWI solders. He was actually a retired Canadian Air Force and Susan got to visit with him. The uniform was very scratchy.

This is the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard from Wash D.C. Yes, those bayonets are sharp!

Time for dinner Murphy's on the wharf
