Halifax

Finally in Nova Scotia

Here's the sign to our campground. The only one in the Halifax area. It's actually in the Dartmouth.

On the way to the Credit Union for Canadian money, we found this unique Veterinary Hospital.

They even make housecalls!

Canadian money is quite colorful and unique, with a hologram stripe to discourage counterfeiting.
They are embossed with brail.

Banners of the Tattoo line the bridge

We stopped by the farmers market

Stalls offering an eclectic mix of items

Sights around the city

Melville Cove

Fairview Lawn Cemetery

Here, in Halifax rest the remains of 150 victims of the Titanic.
Several more are buried in a local Jewish cemetery.

All bodies recovered received a number. If they knew the identity of the person, their name was
engraved on the top of the headstone. If identified later, the name was engraved on the front of the stone. If never identified, only a number marks their passing.

Some families provided other headstones with appropriate inscriptions
