Charlottetown PEI

Charlottetown is the capital and largest city of the Canadian province of Prince Edward Island. Time for a visit.

On the way into the city we saw this beautiful field of rapeseed.

This is a pedestrian only street.

Time for lunch. John Browns was recommended to us.

                                                                Watters Knitwear

All the knitwear is produced by these individuals. Some have worked here for may years.

Susan finally bought a sweater after thinking about it for three years.

We took in a play recommended to us by folks at the dog show. "Anne and Gilbert" is a wonderful musical performed by talented young actors. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Judy has a moment with Sir John A. MacDonald. The MacDonald bridge in Halifax is named after him.

Canadian Tire - so much more than tires.

Some of the merchandise inside.

A rainbow selection of colors.

And they do have tires.

Interesting light signals in Charlottetown. Red is square, yellow is rectangular and green is a circle.
